More common of the two reasons your handset telephone can't be heard ringing, is that there is actually an issue with the ISP side of the network. ... The second reason is that, depending on your in-home wiring and if you have more than one phone point in your home, your internal wiring can be causing no ringer noise.
How do I fix my landline phone not ringing?
If your cordless phone doesn't ring, please try these checks:
Make sure the ringer volume on your phone is not turned down or switched off. ...
Make sure you are using the phone line cord that you received in the box with the phone. ...
Check both ends of the supplied line cord are plugged in correctly.
I called tech support, they said on the main headset, unplug the battery, then unplug power from the base, then unplug the phone cord from the base. Wait 15-30s. Plug the phone cord, then power, then reinstall the battery. Press the End button on the phone.
Please respond to my effort to provide you with the best possible solution by using the "Acceptable Solution" and/or the "Helpful" buttons when the answer has proven to be helpful.
