Can I Get 20% Discount After Two Days Of Purchased? Sale Was 2 Days After.

I bought items worth 1,200 on the 4 th of October. Input them on hold to be picked up over the weekend. I went to pick them up,they were on sale for 20% off. I went back if I could get the 20% off,but they say that they would honor it manager district manager would give them the order. They told me  they have 24 hour to respond. However,24 hour had passed no response,yet. Very disappointed with the store. I hope they would do something with my complaint.
