Bernina 820 Thread Not Broken

The broken thread message appears on my screen, however the thread is not broken, nor do I have an issue with the bobbin thread. I've tried re-threading, replacing the needle, cleaning, unpluging the foot pedal/repluging, turning off the machine for 10+ seconds and re-starting, changing thread thickness and the message re-appears. I am using Superior Kimono 100% silk thread. I have used it many times without a problem. Any ideas?
