Suspicious Phone Call

I recently ( Friday, June 23rd) received a phone message claiming to be from the B of A "Compliance, Processing and Monitoring" Department, regarding an "urgent " matter. I was directed to call and to use the monitoring .My question is, is this a legitimate call or fraud?

It was probably a scam but to be sure, you can call Bank of America customer service at 1 (800) 432-1000.
