I Need Cost Basis Information On Mutual Funds I Bought At B Of A In 1980 Or 1990

I started a mutual fund investment portfolio with BofA in the 90’s or so.  I have the last 9 years of records, but I need to know what I paid when I bought the mutual funds (cost basis information).  BofA has been through several brokerage companies including Quick & Reilly, National Financial Services and US Clearing over the years.  The rep’s at my local branch made a couple of phone calls, the last one to National Financial Services who had me on hold for an hour while I was at the bank.  How can I contact someone who can help?
