Closing An Account

I recently closed my checking and savings account with BofA about 5 months ago to switch over to USAA. I have ever since I have been receiving letters in the mail claiming that my account is overdrawn and that they will be contacting a credit bureau if its not paid. I explained to them that I had closed my account, and withdrawn the balance about 5 months ago. They apologized and closed the claim. After all was said and done I received another letter stating that my account was still overdrawn and found out that they have still been charging maintence fees to my account. Even after I closed it! Once again I contacted them, they apologized, and RECLOSED the account. Now just yesterday I received yet another letter stating my account is overdrawn....again due to them charging monthly fees ON A CLOSED ACCOUNT! Someone help me! How do I stop this before my credit get ruined or I'm forced to pay some astronomical amount of money?
