You can go to any major bank and request a cashier's check.Bring your funds in cash to the bank and ask the teller for a cashier's check in the amount required. The transaction fees can run from three to ten dollars if you are not a customer.If you are requesting a cashier's check for over $10,000.00 you may need to file out an anti-money laundering form. This is a result of the US Patriot Act.

Confirm the amount on the cashier's check. Do not endorse the check if it is made out to you, until you are absolutely sure it will be cashed as you intended.
