Can't Pair Lg 840g Tracfone With 2008 Bmw 335i

When I try to pair my LG 840G tradfone with my 2008 335i bluetooth system, It shows that it is paired but it will not download the phone book and when I try to make a call it asks me to activate the phone. Cant seem to resolve the problem.
