This Dvd Unit Avd300 Won't Keep A Dvd Memory When Off

i have this dvdunit Avd300 ,and it won't keep the memory of the dvd after the car is turned off does this unit store the memory or do i need to wire it differently?  this is a used car we bought with this unit in it .so i don't know .if this model will do this feature
