Unlocking And Locking

I've had mine for a few years and it worked great until the remote ran out of battery and not it only unlocks, how would I go about fixing this.

How do I reset my Audiovox remote starter?Press and hold the programming button on your remote with the key held in the "Start" position, and wait for the LED light on the remote to blink for one second and then turn off.
