Red Cpu Led, Pc Won't Boot. Cpu Is Amd Fx 8150 8-core Black Edition.
I've built this computer. The Mobo, RAM and CPU are brand new, the power unit, CPU fan and graphics card are less than a year old.
The CPU led remains red and the PC won't boot. No POST beep at all.
I've tried the CPU with another fan, reapplying thermal paste carefully, it didn't change anything. The CPU is intact, no bent prong. I have no idea what's wrong.

it seem you have big problem, I will try to answer your question even your question less description.
>| red light keep turn on and won't blink mean:
1. wrong bios config > try resetting the bios setup by clear the bios setting using bios jumper near the cmos battery
2. something wrong with your north bridge chip set, could be cause by dust particle or could be cause by transistor value dropping
3. Death north bridge chip set, usually happen in HM55 chip set with life timer more than 25000
check all above i mention, you will find out the solution

Sounds like you will have to send the unit in for service. Are you able to get into the bios? Can you try another CPU to see if you have the same issue. Make sure you connect the 8 pin CPU power connector. If so, then sounds like you will have to send the unit in for service to have the bios updated for your CPU. Look at the motherboard and at the end you will see 4 numbers. That is the bios that is loaded onto your board. If you have 0211 you will have to send it in for service. If you are still under the return policy from where you purchased the unit, I suggest exchanging for another. If you have the same problem with the 2nd board then yes the issue is the bios isn't compatible with your CPU.
As a last resort, please try to clear CMOS.
