Asus K45vm: How Do U Detect N Use The Nvidia Geforce Gt630m, 2gb Graphics Card?
I just bought a new laptop: asus k45vm, 3rd gen i7-3610qm, ram 8gb, win7 home prem. I notice 3 things:
1. Device mgr show nvidia graphix card present n working properly but pc wizard cannot detect it - why??
2. dwnlded latest geforce gt630m driver fr nvidia website but cannot run/install it - message: cannot find compatible component (soemthing like tat) - why is tat so when the supposed graphic card is present?
3. The intel hd 4000 grphics is easily detected by pc wizard n devie mgr.
4. I've looked at the bios page and do not find nvidia graphics card present - how come??
Anybody can help? thanks (wkw)

Sounds like you will have to update the graphic drivers. Here is a link below which should solve your problem. Just select your operating system and go under VGA. There might be a problem with the driver installation of your graphics driver. Remember that the best working graphics driver for your video card comes from the driver installation CD together with the package. It is not advisable that you download the driver software and install it because there might be instances that it can be corrupted while downloading and the worst is virus attachments.
