Dishwasher Wont Turn Off, Beeps Twice Every 2 Minutes

I am having an issue with my brand new D5532 FI dishwasher, which I have only used 3 times. I am unable to turn it off. If I open the door and hold down the power button for a couple of seconds, it turns off but immediately turns itself back on again. If I close the door it will wait 2 minutes, it beeps twice (I'm assuming it's trying to turn itself off but turns itself on again). It will repeatedly do this every 2 minutes. I can run a washing cycle normally but after the cycle ends it still does the same thing. The first time it did this I flipped the power (to the whole house) which seemed to temporarily fix the issue, it behaved normally again - until I ran a normal cycle, after I opened the door and removed dishes it started doing the same thing again. The inside of the dishwasher is dry. I have taken out the yellow tab in the draining pump and checked that that pump is not blocked. There is some water in that section but it is below the fine filter which I believe is normal. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem - brand new only used once wouldn't turn off, beep beep every two minutes as it tried. This forum was the only reference to it I could find and asko support said they'd never heard of it. They were going to send a technician but suggested turning it off at the power point then back on again after 30 minutes (I would think 10 seconds would have been enough). I did that and it has been fine ever since. Hopefully it's a rare quirk.
