Asko D3350 Dishwasher Switches Off When Door Closed

when I push the door shut the dishwasher switches off. I can hear a faint humming noise but it does not start the wash cycle. Is this an obvious problem I can fix myself? and if so where do I order parts"

the door sensor is dead,it needs to be replaced, it is wise to take it to the repair center for professional fixing
