- Go to the Settings app on your iPhone's home screen. The Settings app is represented by a gear icon.
- In the Settings app, scroll down and tap on "General". It's usually towards the bottom of the list.
- Scroll down again and tap on "Language & Region". It should be the second option under "General".
- Tap on "iPhone Language" or "Device Language".
- Scroll down the list and select "English". You can identify the English option by looking for the word "English" in the language's own script, or the abbreviation "EN" next to it.
- A message will appear asking if you want to change the language to English. Tap "Continue" to confirm your choice.
- Your iPhone will now switch to English. Some apps may need to restart before the language change takes effect.
