1. Make sure your Apple TV and Denon receiver are both turned on and connected to your TV.
2. Connect your Apple TV to your Denon receiver using an HDMI cable. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on your Apple TV, and the other end into an available HDMI input on your Denon receiver.
3. On your Denon receiver, select the input that your Apple TV is connected to.
4. On your Apple TV, go to Settings Video and Audio HDMI Output. From there, select the output resolution that matches the capabilities of your TV.
5. Go to Settings Audio and Video Audio Output. From there, select the audio format that matches the capabilities of your Denon receiver (for example, Dolby Digital).
