Can I use my free AOL account in the Middle East?
I am going to Syria in January; do Ineed to convert my free account on AOL to a paid account, to be sure I can use it?? If so, how?

I am not aware of any restrictions on AOL governing different service levels depending on the connection origin. One of the beauties of the Internet is its global nature. By accessing AOL webmail and AIM express, you should be able to stay in touch with your AOL buddies from whereever.
