How To Convert Amazon Gift Balance Into Itunes Credit?

I have a whole bunch of amazon gift card balance. Since I won't be using amazon anytime soon, I'd like to be able to use the credit on itunes instead. Is there a way that I can spend my amazon balance, which I can't move anywhere else, to get itunes gift card codes? (I'd rather not deal with a physical gift card)

Geekyankit1991's pessimism is not warranted. In fact reselling gift cards has become big business in recent years, and many companies compete with each other for your unwanted gift cards. (With some you sell to the company and with others you sell directly to the buyer, with the company taking a small cut.) Of course you won't get the full price you paid, but because Amazon sells almost anything its cards are valued quite highly, and checking out several of these resources should bring a good amount of cash that you could use for iTunes or anything else.

According to Amazon's Gift Card Terms and Conditions Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

However, you can purchase digital downloads on Amazon using a gift card.

Apple should really just have a single gift card option. An Amazon gift card lets you buy anything on the store. All gift cards are bought with money so it shouldn't matter how it's reclaimed. Understandably, Apple like to hand out prizes limited to the iTunes Store but they can have special Apple redeem cards for that - for anyone else, that restriction shouldn't be needed.

As to a solution, I'd say your only option would be to try and get the money refunded from Apple or try selling the cards if you can for a lower price but I doubt anyone will want $500 worth unless they get a crazy deal for it and even then there's so much spam with gift cards that you'll be hard pressed to get anyone to agree to it.
