Agitation, Top Will Not Lock.

My washing machine will not agitate, wash or spin, but will fill up, and the top will not lock.

It is most likely the lid lock. If the computer detect the lid is not locked, it won't go through the cycle. Also check the strike, if it looks damaged it may be that.
