Cannot Install Ps Elements Trial Version

I downloaded the Photoshop Elements trial version from Adobe's website, but cannot complete installation because "This product does not support PowerPC architecture CPU." What does that mean?

I have a Mac Power PC G4 with OS X 10.4.11. How can I use the trial version on my computer?

Adobe's customer support line was only good for a lot of bad hold music.
