Use On New Laptop

I have used my Acronis with my XP Pro desktop and had good results. I am now wrestling with Windows 8. I need to change the size of the backup partion set up by HP on this g7-2222us as it is way to small. My Acronis program seems to be incompatable with Windows 8. Can I download a Windows 8 version? I did not update my e-mail when I changed IPs last fall, it is now my reference on the original down load.
