How Do I Use 64 Bit When Everything Is 32 Bit?

I have tried adobe flash player 9 etc. and nothing works.I can't play music,download movies,songs or anything and when I try to download 32 bit,that fails too.I just purchased this new aspire 5732Z two weeks ago with windows 7 and though 7 seems great I'm thinking of bringing it back.
