Replacing The Graphic Card
Hi. The graphics card is not working and I am considering to replace it. I would like to know what graphic cards are compatible with the acer aspire 7520g. anything would be good I am looking for a cheap one. As long as football manager works :P

Your notebook has so called MXM graphic card type II. It probably has to work with GeForce 8400M, 8600M, 9300M, Radeon HD3650, HD4570. May be with other MXM type II cards. You can buy it here. But you need to be convinced the graphic card is broken. Motherboard's crash may have same signs.

The spec sheet states that the video card is:
NVIDIA GeForce 7000M with up to 896 MB2 of TurboCache technology (256 MB of dedicated system memory, up to 640 MB of shared system memory), supporting Microsoft DirectX 9, PCI Express
The old card could also be an Nvidia 8600m gs. You can try an Nvidia 9650m but it will require updating the BIOS to the latest revision.
