I Have Acer 5742 Laptop And It Starts Beeping At The Start Up and after start up the cursor automatically moves down

The laptop bios settings might be trying to boot from another source first and not the harddrive.
Restart laptop and Some start up options will most likely flash quickly
Either saying esc, f1, f2 for setup or bios settings
hit the key(s)
In the bios go to boot menu and make sure the harddrive is the first one on list if not move it up.
select f10 and save changes
laptop will restart and it should load
if not it could be your cmos battery or memory
