My Acer Aspire 5334 Laptop Has Stopped Working. It Turns On But That's It.
I was watching the second round of th n.f.l. draft on my laptop and i got up and left the room for 5 minutes.When i came back in the room my screen was black. I thought the laptop just went into sleep mode but when i moved the mouse, nothing happened. The screen stayed black. I turned off the computer and then pressed the power button to turn it back on. the power indicator light came on as did the battery indicator light. None of the other lights that usually come on and start blinking while the computer is booting up came on and the button you press to open and close the dvd compartment also wasn't working. I removed the battery and unplugged the cord. I then held down the power button for 60 seconds, put the battery back in and plugged the cord back in the outlet. The laptop turned on along with the battery indicator light but everything else still was not working. Just a blackscreen. Is there anyway to fix this problem without having to pay an arm and my left nut to have it repaired?
