Apply Below Step
1- Press the wireless LAN communication button or slide its switch to the "On" position. This button or switch is often located on the front edge of the Acer Aspire or just above the keyboard.
2- Click the networking icon in the Windows 7 notification area to see a list of available networks. If you don't see your network, press the "Refresh" icon at the top of the pop-up, or disable and re-enable the adapter.
3- Click your wireless network, and then "Connect." Optionally, check "Connect Automatically" to reestablish the connection anytime your Acer Aspire detects the network.
4- Type the Wi-Fi security passphrase and press "Enter" to connect to the network. This step is not required if the network is unsecured or uses browser-based authentication. In the latter case, the authentication instructions appear whenever you first open your browser and attempt to access a Web page.
