Acer Aod257-1679 Netbook

May I please ask. I have reason to believe my computer has a corrupt bios. I need the files required to perform "crisis disk" recovery. Would you kindly provide the links to the files, as well as a guide to o perform this procedure ?

If it is indeed a BIOS problem, you can locate the files there. Flashing any of them will overwrite your current BIOS and any associated settings.

I hope you do know how to flash BIOS files, your question makes it like you can't even access Windows/Any Operating system. In that case, you would have to put the files under DOS folder from the BIOS downloads in Acer website, go to command prompt(This varies from models, but look for an option to update BIOS or something along the lines of that). Here are some basic commands you can use on the DOS prompt

dir - will list all files

D:, E: etc: Will let you use the different drives of the system, you will have to use the relevant one for your USB Flash drive

once you are in the flash drive, just type the program name ZE_1007 for example(You can also check what the actual name is by using dir command once you are in the USB drive) and hit enter and that will take you through the process.
