Bed Room Tv Service Not Working, Remote Not Working

- Let's assume that you've already changed the 2 AA batteries for the remote and the remote is still not working.
- And let's also assume that all power cords are plugged in..
- Let's also assume that you haven't changed the TV with one not coded to that remote
- Can you power on the TV from the receiver?
- Next check the remote to make sure that you don't have a sticking remote key - pay special attention to the OK key (button) because that's the most problematic key of all - it can get stuck in a partially depressed position - a fingernail around the edge should pop it back out.
- Press the AT&T button (upper left corner)on the remote
- Power on by holding power button for 5-10 seconds
- Anything?
- If not - try the power button on the receiver. Press that power button until the lights on the receiver flash
- Did the TV power on or off?
- If off - power on again - anything?
- Do you know where the wireless router for the system is located? Good because you might be asked to check it in the next phase.
- 1-800-288-2020 24/7 will get you eventually through the automated switchboard to a live Tech Support person who can run a diagnostic on each set.
- You'll also be asked to repeat some of the steps above at some point - just go through those steps again.
