Aiwa Cx-nmt920. Unit Shuts Down Completely When Saitched Off

Unit shuts down completely when switched off with noise in left channel of main speaker and display goes haywire. Has to be plugged out for at least 45 minutes and then plugged back in for unit display to come back and abel to be sitched on again
