Is Beeping

WE purchased home 3 years ago. It was set up for ADT but we never used it. It is now beeping and we need someone to first stop it from beeping and second talk to me about using it.

I would love to assist you. Coincidentally I am actually a customer service and tech support for ADT. Our alarms beep whenever there is a interference that set it off. If there was nothing set up then obviously, that could have not been the cause. The likely cause is that there is a low battery. Since you want your security system on 24 hours we try to alert you in a way we know will get your attention. all you have to do is open up the front cover of the ADT system and there should be a on or off switch. Sometimes it is extremely hard to open the front panel so if you have the model that is plugged into the wall you can just simply unplug it.
