Received New Membership Card. Is It Necessary To Activate Before Using?
Paper new AARP cards were attached to says to visit aarp.org/activation. If this is necessary, how do I activate, and can I use it without this activation?

Despite AARP's misleading verbiage, no activation is required for your membership card. You can verify this by phoning AARP at the number on the back of the card.
