Don't worry about it. Despite AARP's misleading verbiage, no registration or activation is required for its member card, as long as you've paid the membership fee. You can verify this by phoning AARP at the number on the back of the card. Filling out the form is helpful to AARP but not to you; it's essentially a way for AARP to profit from its partner companies that want to know about your susceptibility to its solicitations.
