Yes. This is what I found directly from the AAA site:
"Emergency Road Service is designed to assist you in an emergency when the vehicle you are either driving or riding in becomes disabled. Your membership coverage applies to those emergency and towing services listed here. You must have your valid membership card and a picture ID available to present to the driver when he arrives. You have to be with the vehicle at the time of service."
