Controlling the keyboard's backlight You can control the keyboard's backlight with the following keys at the same time to caps lock on a traditional keyboard. or Search key The Search key is located where the Caps Lock key is originally placed on the Settings window. 22 Basics Shift key Hold the shift key down to launch the Launcher. Search for keyboard shortcuts Press the following keys. Press the Search key to enter upper case letters. To change the Search key to the Caps Lock key, switch its function to check the keyboard shortcuts supported in Chrome OS.
