The SRS airbag system is controlled by the airbag sensor assembly. The airbag sensor assembly consists of the occupants. 88 A chemical reaction in the inflators quickly fills the airbags with non-toxic gas to help restrain the motion of a safing sensor and an airbag sensor. 1-7. In certain types of severe frontal or side impacts, the SRS airbag system triggers the airbag inflators. Safety information The main SRS airbag system components are shown above.

Esse nt ia l inform a t ion Fue l pum p shut off syst e m To minimize the risk of fuel leakage when the engine stalls or an airbag inflates upon collision, the fuel pump shut off system stops supplying fuel to the "ACC" or "LOCK" position. Turn the engine switch to the engine. 5 -1 . Follow the procedure below to restart the engine after the system is activated. Restart the engine. Vehicles with smart key system STEP 1 STEP 2 Turn the "ENGINE START STOP" switch OFF. Vehicles without smart key system STEP 1 STEP 2 NOTICE Restart the engine.
