Tilt the tailgate up and slide it off. Lift the support cable bracket up to unhook the right side. To unhook the support cable bracket, keep pulling up the clip on both sides. 1-2. Opening, closing and locking the doors n Removing the tailgate Open the tailgate to the angle where you can release the brackets on the support cables from the lugs on the bracket and unhook the bracket. 1 Before driving Support cable bracket Clip Tilt the tailgate to about 45° from vertical and pull up the right side of the tailgate to 15°. 55
Tilt the tailgate up and slide it off. Lift the support cable bracket up to unhook the right side. To unhook the support cable bracket, keep pulling up the clip on both sides. 1-2.
