Hold the hood open while the vehicle is fully closed and locked. If the hood is not locked properly, it -yourse lf m a int e na nc e H ood Release the lock from the inside of the vehicle to open the hood. The hood will pop up the hood catch lever and lift the hood. CAUTION n Pre-driving check Check that the hood is in death or serious injury. 242 Pull the hood release lever. Pull up slightly. Do-it may result in motion and cause an accident, which may open by inserting the supporting rod into the slot. 4 -3 .
