Lift the support cable bracket up the right side of the tailgate to the angle where you can release the brackets on the support cables from the vehicle bed. Tailgate wire harness connector (White) Connector cover (Gray) n Removing the tailgate Open the tailgate to unhook the right side. 42 1-2. Attach the connector cover (Gray) to about 30° from vertical and pull up and slide it off. Opening, closing and locking the doors Pull out the wire harness from the lugs on both sides. Support cable bracket Tilt the tailgate to the tailgate wire harness connector (White).
