Lift the hood, release the hood prop rod from the slot in the hood marked PROP ROD. Then lift the hood to the front of the vehicle and pull up on the secondary hood release. 3. 2. Then go to relieve pressure on properly. Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on the hood prop. Remove the hood prop from its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot in the nooa ana reiurrr iile prop io iis ( e k k ~ e r .the^ k f the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11
