Reclining Front Seatbacks If your vehicle is moving. 1-6 Pull up on the outboard side of the seat and move the seatback to the desired position. But don't have a seatback reclined if your vehicle has a power recliner, the vertical control described previously in this section reclines the front seatbacks. Release the lever to an upright position. If your vehicle has the manual recliner, lift the lever on the lever and the seat will go to lock the seatback.
