Remove the hood prop from its hood down and closeit firmly. in the Before closing the hood, be sure all thefiller caps are on properly. Then lift the hood to thefront of the vehicleand lift the secondary hood release handleupward. Thenjust let the its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot hood. Lift the hood, release the hood prop rod from the slot ig the hood and return the prop to retainer. Then go to relieve pressureon the hood prop.
