The high current fuse panel location 272 High current fuses may be replaced by a qualified technician. Ford recommends that are circuit protectors that high current fuses be purchased from your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer. High Current Fuses High current fuses are part of the wiring harness for some electrical equipment. The high current fuse panel is located in the engine compartment on the left-hand fender apron. /!\ WARNING Always disconnect the battery before servicing high current fuses. These, like fuses, open when the circuit load exceeds their amperage rating.
