Safety information For owners in Canada: The symbol on a child restraint system indicates the presence of a lower connector system. 1-7. Child restraint systems with a top strap STEP 1 Secure the child restraint using a seat belt or a lower anchors, and remove the head restraint. STEP 3 Replace the head restraint and lift it up to the uppermost lock position. 84 STEP 2 Open the anchor bracket cover, latch the hook onto the anchor bracket and tighten the top strap.
