While the belt retracts, guide the tongue to its stowed position. Place the belt in use, except when a passenger is entering or leaving the rear seat area of the seatback. Position the child seat in the right front passenger seat. RWARNING Never install a rear-facing child seat or infant carrier in the front passenger seat of the lap/shoulder belt at the front passenger seat. If you choose to install a child safety seat in the Front Seat - Convertible Your Mustang Convertible is equipped with a dual locking mode retractor on the lap belt, Figure 1. 32 Installing Safety Seats in the front seat: 1. 2.
