After lubricating, excess oil and grease should be removed. 462 MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE Front Prop Shaft Lubrication - 2500/3500 (4X4) Models Lubricate the front driveshaft grease fitting at each oil change listed in the Fall and Spring. Body Lubrication Locks and all body pivot .... Particular attention should be given to hood latching components to remove dust and grit. Use Mopar type MS-6560 (lithiumbased grease), or equivalent. When performing other underhood services, the hood latch, release mechanism and safety catch should also be cleaned and lubricated.
