Be careful not to drop or spill things that burn can get on the lower left side of the instrument panel. {CAUTION: Things that will burn onto a hot engine. 5-10 You or others could be burned. Checking Things Under the Hood Hood Release To open the hood, do the following: 1. Pull the handle located inside the vehicle on hot engine parts and start a fire. These include liquids like fuel, oil, coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer and other fluids, and plastic or rubber.

You must drop the hood from about 12 inches (30 cm) or less to close. Release the secondary latch at the front of the hood. 3. 2. Then, pull the hood down to latch the hood properly. 5-11 Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on properly. After you have partially lifted the hood, gas struts will automatically take over to lift and hold the hood in the fully open position.

Coolant Surge Tank B.
