Start the engine and let it run until the level reaches the base of the properDEX-COOL@coolant mixture through thefiller neck until you can feel the upper radiator hose getting hot. Put the cap back onthe coolant recovery tank, but leave the radiator pressurecap off. 7. By this time, the coolant level inside the radiator filler neck maybe lower. Then fill the coolant recovery tankto FULL COLD. 6. Watch for the out engine cooling fans. 8. 5. If the level is lower, add more of the filler neck. 5-22
