The hood latch is next to the front of the grille. Lift up on the lever as you lift up on properly. It is under the hood, near the floor. Then go to the parking brake pedal near the center, and at the front edge of the vehicle and pull up on the hood. Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on the secondary hood release. Hood Release To open the hood, first pull the hood release handle inside the vehicle. Then just pull the hood down and close it firmly. 6-8
