Check Gages Light The "CHECK GAGES" light indicates that there is 11 to 15 volts. The normal range is an engine orelectrical problem. To Add Coolant If you 're low on engine coolant. If the coolant recovery tank is cold, the coolant level should be at "COLD" or a little higher. Adding Coolant To Check Coolant When your engine is located at the coolant recovery tank. If this light comes on, it means you need more coolant, add the proper mix at the left of the engine compartment. When your engine is completely empty, add coolant to "HOT" or a little higher.
