ILLITERATE PEOPLE !!

I called to order a replacement phone because my screen cracked and they deactivated my phone before I could get the new one in the mail. I called to get it back active until the new one came. They deactivated my whole account and keep saying I'm not eligible for a replacement phone but they had already sent me my replacement. Now they recycled my number for NO REASON and I can't get into my account at all I have to reapply. I called six times and no one was helpful not even the managers now I don't have a safe link account and SAFELINK WILL NOT GET THIS BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT PHONE BACK!!!

Not Impressed

I am not impressed , most of the phones don't have good features and quality, and most of them are poor.

These phones are for disabled and poor I feel bad for people who have poor eyesight or no other means to call. The process is horrible, you almost have to sell your first born in order to reach a person, resolve a problem. Thank you Safelink for the free minutes but you are no disabled friendly. It took me over an hour to resolve my issue after instructing me to purchase minutes just to activate the phone. Shame on you for making it difficult for someone who may not have the ability to jump through hoops to access service.

Review this phone Samson that I received is fabulous I like

Couldn't see this phone is a better time things were rough for me I got her work and heading to bed my pills for my phone and the Samson came in and the is work out great for me I found myself stranded on the side of the road and was able to use it and got help for me and my children and I think the phone is better listen thank you guys very much for helping people in need that need the phone

Where's my minutes?

It seems nearly every other month I have to fight to get my minutes. Call and you get "unavailable -- call back"
Here it is Oct 28th and I still haven't gotten my minutes for October!
I do not recommend Safelink!

Can't beat a free phone and minutes

Being a Safelink customer for over a year, I have never had any problems with my phone. Always get good reception and have even gone out of state with no calling or dialing problems. The only problem is actually getting a hold of a live person. Recently I did have a problem with my phone and no matter what I did, I could not get a hold of a live person! So, after trial and error, here is the golden information if anyone needs to know. Dial 1-800-378-1684 (Tech Supp). Press #1 for english. Then, press #4 for tech supp. Then, press #6. As soon as you hear a man's voice recording, begin pressing the # button four times. At the end of the fourth time, you will hear him saying he is transferring you to a representative. Voila!!! So far, this has worked for me more than once.

One thing the government got right.

Considering that I got my phone from them free of charge, the quality is quite great. Their customer service personnel are quite friendly as well.

Well Of Course I Could Not Afford A Phone On My Own B/c I Live Off Of 640.00 A Month. I Had No Way To Call For Help When Needed And I Did Not Know How My Mother Was From Day To Day But Thank For Safe Link / Track Phone I Know No And Sleep Better Knowing That My Mom And Dad R Well Thank U For That. And I Had To Call Cs Today An They Were So Much Help And Very Polite. So I Hope Others Will Give Them A Chanch. Thank You And Gpd Bless

If dropped into water remove battery immediately turn fhnoe around and place nearsome where hot so the water inside vaporates Fast Before Water Damage or also Do This Put In A tup awear full of rice the rice will rapidly remove the water and decrease the damage and fhone will be as brand new And Make Sure You Always. CHECK THE WHITE CIRCLE STICKER
FOUND ON THE BACK OF THE FHONE TO SECURE THE ITS NOT RED BECAUSE IF IT IS ITS ALSSO LETTING YOU KNOW THAT YOUR FHONE HAS BEEN IN WATER AFEW OTHER TIMES THANK YOU AND HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL .

transferring & using a new phone on safelink

I lost my old safelink phone & had to buy s new one then transfer my safelink account to the new phone..
It was really easy

All i had to do was purchase a tracfone, come home then call customer service and they walked me through the steps and presto, i was back on

Service Not Available

I have tried for three days to get someone to replace a lost phone, but have been unable to reach a customer service agent.
The only thing I get is the phone tag runaround.
This is the most miserable service I have ever experienced.
I would NOT recommend this phone service to anyone!!!!!!!!

I have had my phone since June, I keep getting phone calls for some one else. I never get good reception, or it's always roaming. Sometimes when I send a text, it is only 46 letters and it takes off for two texts instead of one. Plus the phone it self is junk, every-time I text or call the numbers stick and don't do anything and then they jump across the screen.

Great at dealing with lost phones.

SafeLink really cares for its customers; When a friend of mine lost his phone, he was able to apply for a replacement within the week.

technical support

back in april 2012, i called safelink to say i had lost phone. within 1 week i found phone. i called safelink and they reactivated my phone and changed my phone number at my request. they were very helpful and efficient, too. thank you, safelink!

Still Waiting For My Phone

I've sent an application in to SafeLink over a month ago and still haven't heard from them. Hence, reason for the one star rating. I'm hoping it's because they get such a high application volume and not giving me the cold shoulder.

customer service

got a text message saying my service was in danger of being canceled, that i should call 18006709315 from my safelink phone. well i did this and have been on hold for 9mins and 52seconds the first time. so i called back again, this time i was on hold for 4mins and 29seconds. this is taking minutes off of my phone. customer service should be free! espeacially if the customer is placed on hold for long periods of time. we should at least have our minutes given back that was used trying to reach customer support. i am now on hold on a friends cell phone as i type, been waiting for 10 minutes and counting. this is very upsetting!

Not bad for what you get!

The phones are not the best quality and do seem poorly put together. So I feel it is likely easily broken, which is why I did not give it five stars. Such a phone doesn't need to be fancy, but a bit more sturdy would come in handy for people who are busy or with small children.

However, you get to choose from three different phone plans, and easily qualify from home within days. As long as you follow their directions, and choose one of the first two plans, you can even have roll over minutes which can really add up. Even though the phones are not top quality, the battery has a long life and can last for days left on without needing to be charged.

All in all, this program is useful for people who are low income, disabled, or elderly, who need that extra reassurance that they can reach out to people, call, even text, friends and loved ones when needed.

Safelink not safe at all

I get a phone from Safelink recently the original phone was stolen and as soon as I realized it had been stolen I called and had the service cut off and was sent a new phone with a promise that the minutes that were left remaining on the account would be transferred to the new phone when I activated it. Well surprise surprise the minutes were not transferred and in my opinion Tracfone pretty much cheated the government funding a bunch of money because there was well over 700 minutes accumulated that was left after the thief got a hold of it as the phone was only used for emergencies or when my son left what we call our safe area close to home so that if he needed to he could call 911 in case of danger or injury or if he had to check in at home. I am grateful for the government funding that provides my son and I with the ability to have such a phone and I think that Tracfone should be penalized for their abuse.
